I'm Adam Keif, a C-10 licensed residential electrician based in San Luis Obispo. Paso Robles is a regular stop, whether it's an estate out in the vineyards, an older home downtown, or a newer place on the east side. Residential work is what I focus on, and on a lot of Paso properties that also means the shop, barn, guest house, or ADU out back, not just the main house. Most calls out here fall into a few categories.

Estates, downtown homes, and hot-summer loads
Paso Robles covers a lot of ground, and the electrical work changes with where you are. The historic homes around the Downtown City Park were wired generations ago and often need panels and circuits brought up to modern loads. Out west toward Vineyard Drive and the Adelaida hills, it's rural estates and vineyards with wells, outbuildings, and long runs between structures. On the east side along Creston Road and Union Road, newer subdivisions start with more capacity, but plenty of homeowners are still adding loads the original panel wasn't planned around.
The other thing about Paso is the heat. Summers here run far hotter than the coast, and air conditioning and heat pumps are some of the biggest loads a home can carry. When a panel is already full, adding cooling, an EV charger, or a shop out back is where a service upgrade usually comes in.

You call or send a quote request. For simple repairs I can often quote by phone. For larger projects like panel upgrades, a shop subpanel, or an ADU, I'll come out and look, at no cost.
You get a written quote before any work begins. Flat-rate where possible, no add-ons you didn't agree to. For troubleshooting, I charge a diagnostic fee that applies toward the repair if you move forward.
When permits are required, and in Paso Robles they are for panel work, new circuits, EV chargers, AC and heat pump circuits, and ADU wiring, I pull them and handle the inspection. Work inside city limits goes through the City of Paso Robles Community Development Department; for properties out in the county, I coordinate with SLO County. You don't have to deal with any of it.
